It appears you may not be an appropriate candidate for the RNS® System at this time. It is FDA approved for people 18+ years of age with focal epilepsy who are still having seizures despite trying two or more medications.
The RNS System is not currently FDA approved for patients with idiopathic generalized epilepsy.
